The unsurpassed quality of ingredients and a farm-to-table philosophy transforms even the simplest meal at one of the Myconian Collection’s restaurants into a sophisticated gourmet experience, framed by sea views that will make you sigh.
Thanks to their deep Myconian roots as one of the island’s oldest and preeminent families in hospitality, the Daktylides brothers, owners of the Myconian Collection Hotels & Resorts, have established time honoured relationships with local farmers and fishermen which ensure that their restaurants receive a privileged and exclusive supply of the freshest ocean catch and first-rate meat and poultry.
Tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini, peppers, onions, garlic, lemons and aromatic herbs like sage, thyme, oregano and rosemary, are all grown exclusively on the Collection’s private farm, and hand-picked ingredients include even the salt that is finest ‘fleur de sel’, harvested off the island of Delos.
The Myconian Collection boasts more than a dozen gourmet restaurants – among which three Relais & Châteaux – as well as numerous relaxed options including a sushi bar, all under the direction of a team of internationally-trained executive chefs who are passionate about infusing classics with regional flavours, and who revere the process of using seasonal produce to create world-class cuisine.
Using these farm-to-table ingredients and the fishermen’s catch of the day, the distinctive touch of the executive chefs transforms even the simplest meal into a sophisticated gourmet experience that fuses purity and seasonal flavours. Choose from global cuisines, gourmet options and health-conscious menus. There is traditional Greek, classic Mediterranean and fusion Asian: all celebrating the riches from the sea and the best of local produce. All the chefs emphasise the genuine flavour of the ingredients without overdoing it. After all, the Relais & Châteaux culinary philosophy of which they are a member is all about placing emphasis on tradition and local provenance. Their cooking preserves pure flavours as they want us to taste everything that went into the dish. They not believe in the kind of complexity that overpowers what we are eating.
As a guest of the Myconian Collection, you are at liberty to choose from any of their finest restaurants. Fine dining highlights include: Efisia at the Myconian Ambassador Relais & Châteaux; Baos at Korali, Naros at Naia and Noa at Kyma, all with views over Mykonos town. And overlooking Elia: Panorama at the glamorous Avaton; the Pavilion at Utopia; Cabbanes at the Myconian Villa Collection; Camares at the Royal; Celebrities and Sishu sushi bar at the Imperial.
