This year, Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak celebrates its 50th anniversary, and the Haute Horlogerie house hosted an elegant cocktail in its honor at the Museum of Cycladic Art on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
The star of the evening was a unique album by Assouline entitled “Royal Oak: From Iconoclast to Icon”, in an impressive size, which presented a journey through six decades of avant-garde art, architecture, fashion, sport and music, which parallels the evolution of the unique Royal Oak.
Award-winning cultural editor Bill Prince and former Deputy Editor of British GQ magazine signs the pages of this iconic coffee table book and gives the reader a unique exploration of the Royal Oak‘s evolution, set in a broad cultural context and marching alongside each form art.
Selected guests, loyal customers and collectors, media representatives and Audemars Piguet enthusiasts, had the opportunity to get to know classic pieces of Audemars Piguet up close, and enjoy an elegant evening at the Museum of Cycladic Art, dedicated to the timeless Royal Oak and its impressive history.
