The Myconian Collection continues to elevate the island’s culinary prestige, with Cabbanes at Myconian Villa Collection achieving a remarkable distinction into into the Toques D’Or awards. Securing a 15/20 rating and one Toque D’Or, this recognition cements its place among the top dining destinations in Greece. A testament to refined Myconian hospitality, Cabbanes delivers an exceptional gastronomic journey, blending contemporary culinary techniques with bold Mediterranean flavours. Each dish, meticulously crafted by Executive Chef Philipos Staboulis, highlights the finest ingredients, locally sourced and internationally curated, offering guests an unparalleled dining experience. Meanwhile, Baos at Myconian Korali Hotel reaffirmed its elite status, also earning a 15/20 rating and one Toque D’Or. Long celebrated for its innovative approach, Baos remains a cornerstone of Mykonos’ fine dining scene. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Panagiotis Tsoukatos, Baos masterfully fuses traditional Greek cuisine with international fine dining trends. The Toques D’Or 2025 ceremony was a true celebration of the synergy between haute cuisine and high fashion, unfolding under the thematic concept “Elective Affinities.” Hosted by Natalia Dragoumi and Konstantinos Aspiotis, the event featured six captivating short films tracing the evolution of these two artistic disciplines from the 1970s to the present.
Adding a touch of creative brilliance, internationally acclaimed fashion designer Angelos Bratis and award-winning chef Alexandros Tsiotinis shared insights into their crafts, highlighting the meticulous research, intuition, and artistry that drive their respective fields.
A Gala Dinner of Michelin-Starred Mastery
The evening culminated in an extraordinary dîner de gala, curated by Michelin-starred chefs Karime López and Takahiko Kondo of Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Florence. Their exquisite menu, a fusion of Mexican vibrancy, Japanese precision, and Italian finesse, paid homage to the philosophy of their mentor, Massimo Bottura. The event’s execution was flawlessly orchestrated by Jean-Louis Capsalas, Executive Chef of Asteria Domus, and his expert team, ensuring a dining experience of the highest calibre.
Recognising Greece’s Culinary Elite
Now in its 32nd year, the Toques D’Or remains the gold standard of Greek gastronomy, celebrating the country’s finest dining establishments. This year, 45 restaurants were honoured, with Etrusco in Corfu once again securing the title of Best Restaurant in Greece with a 17/20 score and two Toques D’Or. Following closely were Botrini’s Athens and Delta, both earning 16.5/20 and two Toques D’Or, marking an unprecedented moment in the awards’ history. Notably, Santorini, Athens, and Halkidiki dominated the rankings, while emerging destinations such as Paros and the Peloponnese made remarkable entries. The awards reflected the evolving standards of Greek fine dining, with 23 restaurants receiving the Top Notch distinction, recognising establishments just shy of Toque D’Or status.
